Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pitch platform ("Service"), operated by Starting Block Ventures ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pitch is a startup pitching platform that enables founders to upload pitch videos, decks, and metrics, and provides investors with tools to discover and evaluate startups across Southeast Asia and Greater China. Pitch is a research and data platform — it does not facilitate investments directly.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (videos, decks, descriptions). By uploading content, you grant Pitch a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the platform for spam, harassment, or illegal activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Scrape or harvest data from the platform without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid features are billed on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if the service has not been substantially used.

7. Disclaimer

Pitch is a research and data platform. We do not provide investment advice, facilitate securities transactions, or act as a broker-dealer. All investment decisions are made independently by users. The information on the platform is for informational purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starting Block Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

The Pitch platform, including its design, logos, and technology, is owned by Starting Block Ventures. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written consent.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your content may be removed from the platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Makati City, Metro Manila.
